Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER — S. Makimura (Final Fantasy Commander) • Store Promo Playmat
Cloud Strife brings the Buster Sword to your battlefield in crisp, card-accurate detail—S. Makimura’s Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER (#202) from the Magic × Final Fantasy Commander release.
- 🧩 Magic × Final Fantasy crossover: Uses the exact illustration printed on the Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER card (#202).
- 🇯🇵 Japanese store-event origin: In-store campaign held June 27–July 24, 2025 in Japan, where this Cloud artwork appeared as a featured playmat.
- ✊ Event purpose: This playmat was designated for a janken (rock-paper-scissors) tournament during the campaign—i.e., a shop giveaway/prize item, not a booster product.
- 🗡️ Buster Sword presence: Bold blues and a clean composition that read beautifully across the whole play surface.
- 🏆 Collector appeal: Official MTG | FINAL FANTASY logos on the mat and clear provenance make it a perfect companion to the Commander deck for FFVII fans.
A striking crossover collectible—born from the Japanese 2025 store campaign and ready to swing into your next game night.
